Construction project financing

Finanssitaito’s Construction Project Financing service is suitable for construction companies and developers seeking to ensure the profitability of their projects and the adequacy of financing, while enabling optimal cost-efficiency in financing.

The objective of the service is to ensure sufficient loan financing while taking into account the project’s other capital structures and cash flows. The disbursement and repayment of project financing can be planned flexibly based on forecasts and with preparedness for changes. Loan financing may be drawn in several instalments as construction progresses, improving financing cost-efficiency. In addition to loan financing, other financing-related elements are reviewed based on the project’s needs.

In addition to the client company’s background and expertise, the value of the construction project itself and its projected profitability are key prerequisites for successful project financing. Finanssitaito’s experts assess these factors before offering an engagement.

The Construction Project Financing service is available in different versions for various types of projects, such as RS, group or non-subsidised developments.

1.

Complimentary assessment

We assess the overall profitability of your project using, among other things, budgets relevant from a financing perspective. Where necessary, we assist in optimising budgets from a financing standpoint.

Engagement agreement

Once we have assessed the project as feasible, we offer an engagement agreement under which our fees are based on modest fixed base fees and success fees linked to the outcomes of the service.

3.

Financing planning and application

We assist in refining budgets relevant to the financing as well as the financing application and application process.

4.

Application for additional permits

Depending on the type of project and service, we assist in applying for any additional permits relevant to financing, such as RS pre-sale permits.

5.

Support during the construction project

During the construction project, we assist with loan disbursements, administration of RS permit procedures and other related matters, depending on the type of project and the selected service version. Our success fee, proportionate to the size of the project, is typically invoiced as the project progresses.
